Here I want to introduce the pure beliefs of Shia Muslims, the second largest branch of Islam which we believe it is the correct interpretation of Islam. Shia take its religion from the Prophet Muhammad and his Ahle-Beyt which are 12 Imams: Ali, Hassan, Hussein and 9 descendants of Imam Hussain. The last Imam, Mahdi(AS) is still alive, but hidden. We expect him to be appeared in the near future Insha-Allah
Every time I look at Google for the word Ashura or Ashoora, I see lots of bloody photos of people who are flagellating themselves with chains of blades, sword, knife or other sharp metal things! Now the question is that:
Is Self Flagellation in Ashura Legal in Shia Religion?
Is this the truth about Shia and Ashura? That means do all the Shia Muslims flagellate themselves during Ashura? It seems so crazy and unbelievable, since I am a Shia Muslim and I never did it and never see somebody flagellate himself during Ashura in our Shia cities during my life! So why Google shows these Images in its first page and why it never filters them while they contain violent and rough images.
Answer is so clear. Google doesn't like Shia thoughts to be spread throughout the world. Google is under supervision of Zionists and it is not acceptable for them that Shia, the religion of resistance and the true enemies of Israel (e.g. Hizbullah, Iran, Yemen, Syria, Iraq) have a good face in Google results! So it shows images of Hindu men that believe in No Pain, No Gain and mutilate themselves in Muharram procession!
Most of those people flagellating themselves are Hindu, not Shia. Self-flagellation is forbidden in Shia according to Fatwas of their grand Ayatollahs like Imam Khamenei and Aytullah Sistani (http://Tatbir.org )
The world of Islam is mourning for more than 5000 Muslims died in the #TragedyOfMina in Mecca. We hope for them to be guests of Imam Ali (AS) in the great Eid of Ghadir InshaAllah.
After all, tomorrow is the great Eid of Ghadir, and I want to deliver my
deep congratulations to all Muslims specially followers of Imam Ali,
Shia Muslims.
Ghadīr Sermon (Arabic: خطبة الغدیر) is a sermon delivered by the Prophet (s) where he (s) introduced 'Ali (a) as the guardian of Muslims. The prophet (s) delivered this sermon on Dhu al-Hijja 18th of 10 AH (March 19th 632) on the return from Hajjat al-wida' [Hajj of Farewell] in a place called Ghadir Khumm. Many Shi'a and Sunni scholars have narrated this sermon.
Ghadir sermon is one of the proofs Shi'a bring for the guardianship
of Imam 'Ali (a) after the Prophet (s). Shi'a also support their claim
with other proofs and evidences.
The Hadith al-Ghadir is a part of this sermon where the Prophet
(s) says, "Anyone I am his master, then 'Ali (a) is his master." Since,
this phrase is narrated by more than 110 companions of the Prophet (s) and 84 Followers, it can be said that this hadith has been narrated as Mutawatir [frequent].
'Abd al-Husayn Amini
collected all the references for this sermon and the hadith al-Ghadir
from Sunni sources and published them together with all other supportive
reasons for the event of Ghadir in 20 volumes in his book al-Ghadir.
These are questions that people unfamiliar with Islam think and ask about it in google! They think that all sects of Islam have their own flag, while there is no official flag for Islam. However huge propaganda of non Islamic group of ISIS in the cyberspace, biased some people to think that like countries which have their own flags, Shia and Sunni have some special flags or symbols.
However I think that there must be an answer for those who search in google for the term "Shia Symbol". After all I found the best symbol for Shia to be AhlulBayt of the Prophet who are innocent according to Quran 33:33 and includes all Twelve Imams of Shiite.

Indeed Allah desires to repel all impurity from you, O People of the Household (AhlulBayt), and purify you with a thorough purification.

There are a lot of books to answer this question, among them are Alghadir, Almurajiat and Nights of Peshawar. However there are several simple proofs for Shia which every Muslim without prejudice will accept them.
Five simple questions from Sunni brothers
There is a common narration from Sunni and Shia sources that says: everyone who dies and he does not know the Imam of his time, dies the death of ignorance.
Question #1: Did Fatima (SA), know Imam of his time or not? If she did not, she is died in ignorance, NauzoBillah, and if she did, her Imam was Ali (as) not Abubakr. So Fatima was Shia.
Sunni brothers say that the leader must be chosen by a council and shia say that the prophet appointed and mentioned all 12 Imams.
Question #2: Which council appointed the second caliph? Second caliph was appointed by Abubakr not a council! while Aboobakr was appointed by council of 13 people
There is a reliable Hadith from Shia and Sunni sources that says: Caliphs after the prophet (pbuh) are 12 (Twelve successors Hadith).
Question #3: What are your 12 Imams? Count them and you can not find twelve Imams in Sunni Muslims while shia have exactly twelve Imams
Sunni Muslims, take their religion from four Imams: Imam Malik, Imam Shafi’i, Abu-Hanifeh and Ahmad-ibn-Hanbal.
Question #4: These four imams you have, lived in what century? And what is their relation with the Caliphs? The Shia Imams are their Caliphs as well. But you have four caliphs and four imams who lived almost 100 years after Khulafa.
Shia Muslims have thousands of prayers and Monajats from their twelve Imams available in several books like Mafatih Aljanan, Sahife Sajjadiey, Almoraqibat, etc.
Question #5: How many prayers, hymns or praise of the Lord you have quoted from your first three Caliphs or your 4 Imams? Count them and you will find nothing countable.
Now decide, Shia are wrong or Sunni? Unfortunately some extremist Muslims like ISIS say that shia are Kafir! and killing them has the reward of paradise! while grand Sunni scholars like Sheikh Shaltoot have confirmed Shiite as a true Islamic religion.
Condolences on martyrdom of the first Imam of Shia Muslims, Imam Ali (as) AmiralMomenin (the grand leader of believers). He were hit on head by sword of Ibne Muljam (may Allah damn him) while in Sajdah of Morning prayer.
There is a narration which says that Imam Ali would give food to the orphans with his own hands so many times that once someone said we wished we were orphaned too so that Imam Ali would indulge us so much! He would pay visits to the poor and the needy and the troubled and the stranded so often and so incognito that it is commonly said that it was only after he was stabbed that they just began to realize who that merciful person who would visit them and they never new him! It is reported through authentic sources that Imam Ali ibn Al-Hussein (AS) used to recite the following Salavat every day in
Sha`ban at the time sun passes the merdian (waqt-e-Zawal) and on the
night of 15th Sha`ban. The salawat is as follows:
In the name of Allah the Beneficent, the Merciful. O' Allah! Bestow
Your blessing on Muhammad and his progeny-the tree of prophet hood and
the trustees of the (Divine) Mission; , the place of visits of the angels, the mine of Your Knowledge and the people of the Holy House of revelation. O`
Allah I Bestow Your blessing on Mohammad and his progeny who are a boat
sailing in the deep waters of fathomless sea. Safe is he who boarded
it and drowned is he who discarded it. Those who went ahead of them
were misled and those legged behind them were ruined and those who
adhered to them were united with them. O` Allah! Bless Mohammad and
his progeny who are the strong refuge, rescue for the distressed and the
helpless, shelter for the fugitives and protection. O` Allah! Bless
Mohammad and his Progeny with plenty of Your blessings which should
please them and grant them their due and it should be fulfilled with
Your might-O` the Lord of the Worlds! O Allah: (please do) send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad-- the pure, the pious, the righteous whose rights have been made incumbent upon us by You and
the obedience to whom has been deemed obligatory upon us by You and
whose (divinely commissioned) leadership has been (also) deemed
obligatory upon us by You. O` Allah! Bless Mohammad and his progeny
and embellish my heart with obedience to You and disgrace me not with
disobedience to You and bless me with tenderness for one struck with
poverty from Your sustenance for You have blessed me with affluence in
livelihood and because You have displayed Your justice on me and
bestowed life on me to live under Your shade. And this is the month
You have attributed to Your Prophet the chief of Your Prophets month of
Sha`aban You have encompassed it with your mercy and pleasure. The
Messenger of god used to keep vigil in devotion during its nights and
observed fasts during its days humiliating himself before You honoring
and respecting it till his departure from this World. O` Allah! Help us in following his life pattern and in achieving his intercession. O`
Allah! Appoint him as an intercessor for me and his intercession is
accepted by You and appoint him to show us a simple path towards You and
make me his follower till I meet You on the day of resurrection in a
state that You be pleased with me ignoring my sins for You have
prescribed mercy and pleasure from you and my entertainment a peaceful
abode and the abode of virtuous people
Today on 3 Jamadi Alsani 11 AH, the second Khalif and some others attacked the house of Fatima (sa) the daughter of the Prophet Muhammad (sawa) and the greatest Lady of both world. They fired the door of her house and pushed it while Fatima was behind it. She hardly injured and her son, Mohsen, were aborted. After a while she martyred and according to her will, Ali (as) washed, shrouded and buried her holy body at night. Her grave is still hidden and will be appeared at the time of appearance of her grand son, Imam Mahdi (aj).
The Prophet (sawa) said, "Fatima is part of me. Whatever upsets her upsets me, and whatever harms her harms me." Sahih Muslim, v. 5, p. 54
Deep Condolences on martyrdom of Hazrat Fatima Zahra(sa).
We have said many times that
today's denominational discord among Muslims is a weapon and a trump
card in the hands of our enemies. This is completely clear to those
people who are well-informed about global developments. Such
denominational discord is a sword in the hands of our enemies.
Publicizing differences, expressing them in an outspoken way and
speaking about issues which fuel fitna is one of the means which our
enemy makes maximum use of. Now if we act in a way that the enemy's goal is achieved, this is changing #Allah's
favor for ungratefulness. In religious ceremonies, denominational
discourse should not be highlighted. How many times should this be
repeated? We have said this many times, but some people do not want to
listen. What do you do if you want to guide those people who do not
believe in your denomination and your true beliefs? Do you begin to
curse and speak ill of their sacred beliefs? This will make them
completely drift away from you and it will destroy all hopes of guiding
them. The way to guide them is not this. Well, we are proud that we
are Alavi Shias. We are proud that we have gained understanding about
the position of Wilayat. Our magnanimous Imam Khomeini (r.a.) carried
the flag of the Commander of the Faithful's (a.s.) Wilayat and this
became a means for the world of Islam - whether Shia or non-Shia Islam -
to feel proud of Islam. Now, should we do something to turn this feeling of pride and the interest of the world of Islam in #Shia
community and Shia honor into enmity, hostility and grudge? This is
exactly what the enemy wants. We should not allow him to achieve his

Tomorrow is 17 Rabi'AlAwwal (Arabic Calendar). According to some documents
specially from Shia Muslims, in this day, the holy Prophet Muhammad
(SAWA) was born. Sunni Muslims however say that the prophet was born in 12 of Rabi'.
Imam Khomeini declared the days between 12 and 17 Rabi' as the week of unity and friendship between Muslims. So accept my deep congratulations on the birth of the Holy Prophet #Muhammad (SAWA) and start of the #unity and #friendship week between Muslims.
Our leader, Imam Khamenei always emphasize on the unity between Muslims and respecting each others. In a lecture at 05/19/2009, Ayatollah Khamenei said:
The
enemy is hoping to pitch the followers of different Islamic
denominations against one another. Nobody must give in to this spiteful
plot of the enemy. They want to incite #Shia against #Sunniand Sunni against Shia. They want to sow spite and suspicion in the hearts of #Muslims.
That was why I declared that disrespect for each other's beliefs forms
the red lines from an Islamic point of view and from our perspective.
Those who disrespect what is held sacred in an Islamic denomination, be
it Sunni or Shia #Islam, do not know what they are doing. These acts of desecration provide the enemy with the best means. These are the red lines.
Shia and Sunni Muslims
have their own religious ceremonies, rituals, duties, and tendencies,
and they must follow their own principles. But under no circumstances
should Shia or Sunni Muslims disrespect what the other denomination
holds sacred. Some Shia or Sunni Muslims say certain things due to their
lack of vigilance and reject one another. That is exactly what the
enemy wants.
